Dual Group 1 winner Audarya heads a high-quality field of six for Thursday's Qatar Nassau Stakes (3.35), with William Buick set to maintain the partnership after being aboard for her seasonal reappearance at Ascot last month.

As expected, Love – who finished third to Adayar in the King George at Ascot and Saturday – and Sussex Stakes-bound Snow Lantern were the major defectors at Tuesday's final declaration stage. Three of the six remaining fillies and mares boast success at the highest level.

Audarya joined that club with success in the Prix Jean Romanet and the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf last season and produced an excellent effort when chasing home Love on her return to action in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Audarya is joined by Lady Bowthorpe, who has taken her form to a different level at or around a mile this season, notably when finding only Palace Pier too good in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury in May.

Yet to score at Group 1 level, Lady Bowthorpe landed the Dahlia Stakes over 1m1f and most recently was a luckless fourth behind Snow Lantern in the Falmouth Stakes back at a mile.

This will be a first try at a mile and a quarter for the five-year-old, whose trainer William Jarvis is seeking a first Group 1 success since Grand Lodge in 1994.

Aidan O'Brien fields two Classic winners in his bid for a fourth win in the race, with Irish 1,000 Guineas one-two Empress Josephine and Joan Of Arc both lining up.

Since their meeting at the Curragh, Joan Of Arc has gone on to land France's version of the Oaks, the Prix de Diane, over an extended mile and a quarter.

The daughter of Galileo is attempting the same Chantilly-Goodwood double that Fancy Blue recorded 12 months ago.

Zeyaadah was unable to match market expectations in the Oaks over a rain-softened mile and a half but returned to winning ways in the Listed Hoppings Stakes at this trip on the Newcastle Tapeta, while her nearest pursuer that day, Technique, completes the line-up for Thursday's feature.
