Last week's horses to follow, including a royal runner who holds a Derby entry
With our expert race-readers watching and writing a descriptive in-running comment for every horse who runs in Britain and Ireland, there are three different categories used to denote those who are most appealing with the future in mind.
Members' Club Ultimate subscribers can add the names of the horses mentioned to their Racing Post Horse Tracker and will then receive email alerts when they are entered or declared again.
On their next start, the horses will be flagged in Signposts, which can be found in the Racing Post newspaper or online as part of Members' Club on raceday.
Non-members can sign up here to get the tracker, race replays and in-depth race analysis, as well as exclusive content from our team of tipsters and writers.
Did well in the circumstances
Divine Connection
Second, Wolverhampton, November 28
Back down from a mile and back on all-weather, she found herself with a bit too much to do and hit the line with purpose. Her turn doesn't look far off.
Princess Niyla
Third, Lingfield, November 30
A £65,000 purchase as a yearling, she kept on nicely in the straight amidst greenness and seems likely to leave this form behind next time. Her dam stayed 1m2f and she should improve.
Catherine Chroi
Seventh, Newcastle, December 2
Had already got a bit outpaced when the fifth crossed into her path inside the final two furlongs, causing her to have to switch, but she was rallying at the finish.
Eyecatcher
Elnajmm
Second, Kempton, November 28
Out of a well-bred 7f all-weather winner and took a while to realise what was required, but he finished strongly to grab second, albeit no match for the winner. This debut experience should have done him good and he looks one to be on next time.
Verdant Place
Third, Punchestown, November 29
Was the eyecatcher, coming home best of all to snatch third on handicap debut. Success shouldn't be long coming and he could stay further.
Witch Hunter
Third, Lingfield, November 30
Had presumably come on for his return from a break over course and distance on his previous outing and shaped like the best horse at the weights as he finished strongly from too far back (endured a troubled passage). He seems better on all-weather and remains one to be interested in.
Sweet Memories
Fourth, Wolverhampton, December 3
A half-sister to Group 1 winner Cursory Glance and three other winners who fetched 680,000gns as a yearling. She made an encouraging start to her career, keeping on well in the latter stages. She should improve.
Anyharminasking
Third, Huntingdon, December 4
Almost snatched an unlikely second and is one for the notebook. Clobbered in the handicap for two easy wins at the end of last season, he showed far more than on his reappearance at Ascot in October and shapes as though a small step up in trip may prompt a return to winning ways. He hung left up the straight and could appreciate going the other way.

Promising
Azure Angel
First, Kempton, November 28
Had the best draw and made light of the penalty to win comfortably. Impressing with the way she quickly took a grip of the race, she looks best kept to this trip and should be a nice filly for next year.
Slipofthepen
First, Kempton, November 30
A half-brother to 7f-1m5f winner Frontispiece and 1m2f-1m4f winner Bookmark. He was green on his debut but created a lasting impression to win easing down and justified the market confidence. This Derby entry should appreciate middle distances and he's an exciting prospect.
The Bunt
Sixth, Wolverhampton, December 3
A half-brother to bumper/2m hurdle winner Staging Post and was too green to do himself full justice on debut, but he shaped with promise and should improve.
