Abingdon - Sir Michael Stoute
Will make someone a fine broodmare one day, but before she forms part of the Balymacoll Stud dispersal the daughter of Street Cry showed she has some unfinished business on the racecourse when impressing on the Limekilns round gallop. The four-year-old holds an entry in next month's Darley Yorkshire Oaks.

Gm Hopkins- John Gosden
The six-year-old looked as good as ever when finishing second to the useful El Hayem at Sandown last time and looked in similar shape on the Limekilns long gallop on Friday morning. Gosden is hoping for a decent draw for his stalwart in the Betfred Mile at Goodwood on Friday, a race in which he finished eighth from stall 18 in 2015.

Big Orange - Michael Bell
Five days after being in the full glare of the media at Fitzroy House, the Goodwood Cup favourite had the peat moss gallop to himself as he worked seven furlongs up the straight. The son of Duke Of Marmalade was wanting to do more, but Bell was keeping a lid on him with Tuesday's assignment fast approaching.

Spangled- Roger Varian
The five-year-old took a step closer to a welcome return to the track when shining under John Lowe on the Limekilns trial ground and it is hoped she can build on last year's progressive profile. The Cheveley Park-owned chestnut has not run since winning the Group 3 Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster last September and will have similar targets on her radar in the autumn.

Great Work!

Quargent - Jeremy Noseda
Owner Marc Keller's racing manager Fiona Shaw had to be quick to keep tabs on the daughter of War Front with her video camera as the juvenile swept past on the trial ground under Jamie Spencer on Friday. The youngster finished eighth on her debut at the July meeting, a race that is working out well, and is entered at Goodwood on Thursday.
