David Lanigan has revealed he is to relocate to state-of-the-art Rathmoy Stables on Hamilton Road in Newmarket at the end of the current Flat season.

The former assistant to Sir Henry Cecil announced earlier this year that he was to return to headquarters from Lambourn, where he has trained since 2011.

During his five-year spell at Bjorn Nielsen's Kingsdown Stables, Lanigan enjoyed much success, including a coveted first Royal Ascot win with Interception in 2015 as well as a near-miss in the Derby in 2012 with runner-up Main Sequence.
