What did you make of this year’s Arc de Triomphe won by Enable?
Paddy Power odds compiler Frank Hickey It is an amazing achievement for Enable to win off the back of just one run this season. It marks her down as one of the greats. I do think Sea Of Class was really unfortunate though, as I believe the high draw was the difference between her winning and losing.
Jockey Tom Marquand It made for exceptional watching. Enable has obviously proved her class once again – winning two Arcs back to back is a phenomenal feat. A lot of critics will probably say Sea Of Class is the unlucky horse in the race, but James Doyle gave her an incredible ride and was unfortunate not to pull it off. I think both fillies, probably of equal class, came to the fore and made it an incredible race.
Trainer Joseph O'Brien It was a great renewal fought out by two exceptional fillies. Yet again Enable showed her class and got a great ride from Frankie Dettori. A high draw told against Sea Of Class but she almost overcame it. It was a fine effort on her part.
