John Oxx: 'Distance makes no odds to Baaeed, he's just superior like his dad'

The man who masterminded the magnificent career of Sea The Stars, which climaxed with Arc glory, believes Baaeed is a carbon copy of his father and has the class to cope with any trip.

Given his association with Sea The Stars, it is no surprise to hear John Oxx has been keeping a very close eye on Baaeed throughout his stellar career, and he sees striking similarities between the two.

Sea The Stars had his glorious swansong at Longchamp in the 2009 Arc and, 13 years later, the most talented son he has ever produced could do likewise. Baaeed also has the option of going for either the Irish or British Champion Stakes, or both.
