Jockey in demand despite shock of losing Bin Suroor role
James Doyle, who on Tuesday was hit with the news he would no longer ride as number one jockey for Saeed Bin Suroor, will be in demand at Newmarket on Friday, when he has rides in seven of the eight races.
Doyle endured a blank day at home yesterday, while William Buick took over on Godolphin's Melbourne-bound Goodwood Listed winner Sky Hunter. On Thursday he has only three rides at Pontefract, one of them for Bin Suroor, while Buick takes over on Best Solution and Great Order at Newmarket.
However, it is a very different story at Newmarket on Friday, and he also looks likely to be busy at the course on Saturday.
