Jessica Harrington eyeing more Group 1 joy with Albigna in Prix Marcel Boussac

Jessica Harrington's bandwagon of top-class juvenile fillies rolls on to Longchamp this weekend where Albigna will attempt to reward the trainer with a second Group 1 success in the space of eight days in the Prix Marcel Boussac.

Millisle was a surprise 16-1 winner of the Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday and Harrington now has her eyes firmly set on the only Group 1 in France exclusively open to juvenile fillies.

Alpine Star was originally pencilled in for Sunday's showpiece but there has been a late change to the team sheet with Albigna instead set to line-up, and Harrington believes you will see a different filly to the one who flopped as favourite for the Moyglare Stud Stakes on her most recent start.

"Albigna goes to France for the Prix Marcel Boussac rather than Alpine Star. You can forget Albigna's run at the Curragh last time out as she was in season. She is better than that. She worked last week and we were very happy with her," Harrington said.

On Friday week the baton will be handed over to the unbeaten Cayenne Pepper, who will bid to make it four wins from four in the Group 1 Fillies Mile at Newmarket.

"Cayenne Pepper goes to Newmarket for the Fillies Mile and she has been in great form since winning at the Curragh. I am delighted with her," the trainer added.

An incredible 27 of Harrington's 59 winners on the Flat in Ireland and Britain this season have been with two-year-olds.
