Iwilldoit team revelling in Chepstow heroics and Aintree trial the next target
The owners of Coral Welsh Grand National hero Iwilldoit might still be coming to terms with their greatest success in 27 years, but plans are already being put in place for a possible crack at the Randox Grand National in April.
Iwilldoit carried the colours of long-standing syndicate Diamond Racing, which was formed in 1994, to provide Wales with a third straight victory in the Chepstow showpiece, after which he was introduced into the National betting at 20-1 by Betfair Sportsbook.
Diamond Racing's director Chris Morgan described Aintree plans as "up in the air", but the Sam Thomas-trained eight-year-old is set to run in the Grand National Trial at Haydock on February 19.
