ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the six ITV races on Thursday
1.50 Goodwood
Coral Kincsem Handicap, 1m2f
Migdam looks to be a typical Sir Michael Stoute-trained progressive sort and bids to rattle off a four-timer having made a winning reappearance. Vee Sight seemed to thrive from a gelding operation when successful at Sandown last time, while Asaassi and Warren Point have improving profiles.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Vee Sight
Powered clear for 1m1f Sandown win on reappearance and should be capable of better still
2.25 Goodwood
Richmond Stakes (Group 2), 6f
Royal Scotsman was far from disgraced in the Coventry Stakes on his latest start when third and has strong course form, having broken his maiden in impressive fashion at Goodwood in May. The consistent Chateau picked up Listed honours last time, while Marshman and Al Karrar were impressive winners of their debuts.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Royal Scotsman
Impressive winner here on second start, then posted a very solid effort in the Coventry
3.00 Goodwood
John Pearce Racing Gordon Stakes (Group 3), 1m4f
Derby second Hoo Ya Mal makes his first start for George Boughey and since his expensive purchase by new Australian connections. He faces a tough task however, with St Leger hopefuls New London, West Wind Blows, Deauville Legend and King Edward VII Stakes runner-up Grand Alliance all in opposition.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: West Wind Blows
Impressive in the Glasgow Stakes at Hamilton, taking record to 3-4; highly appealing
3.35 Goodwood
Qatar Nassau Stakes (Group 1), 1m2f
It could be a penalty-kick for Prix de Diane winner Nashwa, who gets weight from the closest of her rivals and looks well-set for another top-level success. Prix d'Ispahan winner Dreamloper needs to bounce back from a poor effort in the Pretty Polly Stakes last time, while Lilac Road could be best of the rest based on her Middleton Stakes win.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Nashwa
Third in the Oaks then won the 1m2½f Group 1 Prix de Diane; three-year-old who has leading claims
4.10 Goodwood
Jaeger-Lecoultre Nursery Handicap, 7f
Charlie and Mark Johnston and Ryan Moore have already enjoyed winners this week and they team up with True Statesman, who arrives seeking a hat-trick following impressive wins in this company the last twice. It is no gimme however, with X J Rascal, Far Shot and Seductive Power all having strong form in the book.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Sunningdale
The step back up in trip and first-time hood are both possible positives on nursery debut
4.45 Goodwood
World Pool Handicap, 5f
Dusky Prince has already quickly rattled off a hat-trick this summer and bids to defy a 5lb higher mark for his latest success at Doncaster earlier this month. Swayze bounced back to winning ways for King George-winning trainers William Muir and Chris Grassick last time, while Get Ahead was not beaten all that far on her latest outing either.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Le Beau Garcon
2-3 as a two-year-old; left impression there was more to come in both starts this year; interesting
