ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the six ITV races on Friday
1.50 Newmarket
bet365 Handicap, 1m2f
New London was no match for Changingoftheguard in the Chester Vase but can get back to winning ways on a welcome return to Newmarket. Stablemate Natural World makes his first start since being gelded and could be of interest, while last year's winning trainer William Haggas looks to strike with Yonafis.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: KNIGHTSWOOD
May well do better than at Royal Ascot; yard has an astonishingly good record in this race
2.05 York
William Hill Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap, 1m4f
Southern Voyage's winning streak was ended in October and he makes his first start as a four-year-old after a gelding operation. Forza Orta drops back in class while the progressive My Little Queens could have more to offer.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: MY LITTLE QUEENS
Kept on well when going close in the 1m3f Cumberland Plate and she's a major player
2.25 Newmarket
Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes (Group 2), 6f
Lezoo gave Frankie Dettori a welcome winner during his sabbatical from John and Thady Gosden and reunites with the filly for this Group 2 test, where they take on Royal Ascot runner-ups Maylandsea and Mawj.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: MAYLANDSEA
Debut winner who beat all bar Dramatised in the Queen Mary; should stay 6f.
2.40 York
William Hill Summer Stakes (Group 3), 6f
Flotus outran her odds to place in the Commonwealth Cup and is yet to finish outside the top four in her last five starts. She's the one to beat in this Group 3 race but Listed scorer Benefit posted a career-best rating at Salisbury and comes here in top form.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: FLOTUS
Fine third in Group 1 Commonwealth Cup and York should suit her prominent style
3.00 Newmarket
bet365 Trophy, 1m6f
Tom Marquand remains unbeaten on Candleford following an emphatic success in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes. They set the standard in this contest but Trawlerman and Contact will seek to reverse the Royal Ascot form.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: SUMMER'S KNIGHT
Needs to resume improvement but there was promise in his 5th in the Northumberland Plate
Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes (Group 1), 1m
The feature race at Newmarket is short on runners but holds plenty of interest thanks to Inspiral, who remains unbeaten after a dazzling success in the Coronation Stakes. The French raider Sibila Spain is next on the list, providing she avoids the stall drama which forced her withdrawal at Royal Ascot.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: INSPIRAL
Very impressive in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, maintaining her unbeaten record
