Eoin McCarthy hopes to make his mark at Ireland's biggest meetings after a memorable Christmas period with three winners at Limerick.

The County Limerick trainer is enjoying his best season with 12 winners and only Gordon Elliott was more successful at the track's four-day festival.

"It's our best season with a couple of months to spare,” said McCarthy. "This year, we brought in horses in a more staggered process with fresh horses coming along all the time. The show is rolling a lot better."
