Emma Lavelle is relishing a fourth crack at the Paddy Power Stayers' Hurdle with Paisley Park with the trainer convinced the 2019 champion's improbable victory in the Cleeve Hurdle on Trials day proves her stable star is as good as ever.

Paisley Park will have to defy a raft of negative trends as a ten-year-old who has been beaten in the last two runnings, meaning he is far from the overwhelming favourite he has been in each of the last three seasons with most firms quoting him fifth best behind reigning champion Flooring Porter.

Lavelle says she expects to enjoy not wearing the favourite's tag, but believes victory in the Cleeve – in which Paisley Park gifted his rivals ten lengths when whipping round at the start before powering up the hill to deny Champ – is evidence of the form that she and husband Barry Fenton see everyday at home.
