'It's been a real success story' - Ed Dunlop the envy of Newmarket neighbours

While most of Newmarket was dealing with an amber weather warning for snow and sleet on Saturday morning, it remained business as usual for Ed Dunlop following a significant recent investment at La Grange Stables.

Outside of Godolphin, the Fordham Road yard is the only premises in Newmarket to have an in-house cantering facility after the recent installation of a state-of-the-art deep-sand canter, which is a furlong round and based on a similar facility at Willie Mullins' yard in Ireland.

The new facility allows the Dunlop team to stay at home while still maintaining a base level of fitness, unlike most other Newmarket strings which have to brave the elements and tackle the Heath.
