'It's a total joke' - course bookmakers slam Windsor's new two-enclosure plan

Windsor's decision to restructure its pricing and enclosure strategy for the bulk of 2022 has been described as a "disgrace" by one on-course bookmaker, who said the plans would lead to him thinking twice about operating at the track.

Monday's meeting was the last staged under a one-enclosure model and subsequent racedays will feature two enclosures, one of which will not allow punters to access the parade ring.

What is now the Silver Ring and grandstand will, from April 25, be known as the Trackside Enclosure, which will cost £18 to enter but does not include access to the parade ring.
