History of the partnership from Samain to Bel Sas

Having finished second in a bumper at Fairyhouse the previous April on his sole start for Eddie Hales, Samain supplied Willie Mullins with his first winner for Gigginstown House Stud when justifying 8-13 favouritism in a 2m bumper at Punchestown. He won two more bumpers that spring at Naas and the Curragh before picking up an injury that ended his racing career.
