Unbeaten star Rubaiyat the main attraction at Hoppegarten on Sunday
Rubaiyat will put his unbeaten record on the line in the Group 3 Dr. Busch-Memorial (1.30) at Hoppegarten on Sunday with the entire 12-race meeting being broadcast live by Racing TV from 11.30.
The three-year-old was named Germany's Horse of the Year last season after winning all three of his starts for trainer Henk Grewe. Rubaiyat rounded off his campaign in October with victory in one of Italy's hottest juvenile races, the Gran Criterium at San Siro.
Rubaiyat is set to face six rivals in the €27,500 contest, which will be part of an extended Luck On Sunday, and is expected to line up in the Group 2 German 2,000 Guineas at Cologne on June 1.
Germany was one of the first countries to resume racing in Europe following the global outbreak of Covid-19 and staged action for the first time since March 15 at Hanover last Thursday.
Racing TV will show the main races on Sunday, while all 12 races will be available to view on Racing TV Extra. The action will also be available to view on the Deutscher Galopp Youtube channel.
