Stormy Antarctic in great shape ahead of Cup mission at Sha Tin

Stormy Antartic, fourth in the QEII Stakes to Roaring Lion on Champions Day last time out, is embarking on his second journey to Hong Kong for the Group 1 Hong Kong Cup.

His first effort did not go to plan, as the chestnut was lit up by the first-time blinkers and he ran far too keen, fading late on to finish fifth of seven behind Contentment in the Champions Mile in May 2017.

However, the five-year-old has transformed since he has been gelded and has yet to finish out of the first four in seven starts this year, including in two trips to Germany and one to Canada.
