Russell out to land French chase double in Prix La Haye Jousselin with Carriacou
3.30 Auteuil

Carriacou will attempt to become the fourth horse this century to complete Auteuil's Grade 1 chase double in the same season, following Mid Dancer (2007), Remember Rose (2009) and Milord Thomas (2015) in adding the Prix La Haye Jousselin to spring's Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris.
Davy Russell created his own slice of history when steering Carriacou to glory in May on what was his very first ride over the Auteuil chase track and remains an integral part of the team.
Russell made the trip over for the seven-year-old's comeback run over hurdles last month, with Carriacou finishing an unlucky third after being badly hampered two out.
Trainer Isabelle Pacault was unhappy the stewards failed to take action on that occasion but has been delighted with Carriacou's work since.
Pacault told Paris-Turf: "He has progressed since his comeback run and his whole build up has gone like a dream. I don't know how the ground will ride but I do know he's really well and we're going there to win."
Bipolaire finished nine lengths behind Carriacou at the end of the Grand Steeple but has thrived in this race in each of the last two seasons and bids to follow the recently-retired Milord Thomas as bringing up a hat-trick in French jump racing's autumn highlight.
