Posilox (William Menuet/Romain Julliot), winner in 2015, strode clear of the horse who dethroned him last year, Kick On, to record an emphatic victory in the 13th edition of the world's longest jumps race.

Julliot banked on the stamina of Posilox and took over a full mile from home on the switchback circuit, stretching the field out on the final loop.
