Poetic Flare misses Prix du Moulin as Baaeed faces five rivals on Group 1 debut
Baaeed is set to face five rivals in Sunday's Prix du Moulin de Longchamp (2.48) after Poetic Flare was not declared for the Group 1 contest.
The St James's Palace Stakes winner was one of two runners taken out of the race along with Coeursamba, who took Group 1 honours in the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches at Longchamp in May.
Poetic Flare was set to be the chief rival to the unbeaten Baaeed, who steps into Group 1 company for the first time following a decisive success in the Thoroughbred Stakes at Goodwood in July.

The three-year-old colt will be ridden by Jim Crowley and is odds-on to land his fifth win this year for William Haggas, who last won the race with Aqlaam in 2009.
Richard Hannon fields the only other British entry for the mile contest and is hoping for a big run from Falmouth Stakes star Snow Lantern, with Sean Levey securing the ride after missing the filly's Sussex Stakes third. The three-year-old is one of two fillies in the field next to Novemba for trainer Peter Schiergen.

With five French Group 1s already to his name this year, Aidan O'Brien goes in search of a sixth and sends out Lope Y Fernandez and Order Of Australia, who was last seen finishing third behind Poetic Flare and Palace Pier in the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville in August under Ryan Moore.
Last year's winning trainer Andre Fabre aims to repeat his Godolphin success with Group 3 Prix Messidor winner Victor Ludorum, who has been ridden by Mickael Barzalona for each of his 12 career starts.
