O'Brien sweet on Bolshoi Ballet in Turf but needs one to come out to get in
Love has taken one for the team in being diverted elsewhere, but there was a sense at Del Mar on Tuesday morning that Ballydoyle’s best remaining chance of plundering Saturday’s Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf still isn’t guaranteed a run.

However, Bolshoi Ballet is still first reserve, while Mogul needs two to come out to get a run. Japan and Broome, who will be ridden by Frankie Dettori, had also been reserves before the latest forfeit stage.
Perhaps crucially, Ryan Moore is pencilled in alongside both Japan and Bolshoi Ballet, suggesting he would change horses should Bolshoi Ballet make the cut by 8am local time on Saturday.
