Lah Ti Dar and Coronet remain in Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud field for John Gosden
Royal Ascot absentee Lah Ti Dar could face stablemate Coronet after a strong British representation was left in Sunday's Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud following the latest forfeit stage.
John Gosden's St Leger runner-up Lah Ti Dar was pulled out of her intended engagement at the royal meeting in the Hardwicke Stakes after not eating up but could travel to France to run in the 1m4f Group 1.
Her stablemate Coronet finished an agonising second behind Waldgeist in last year's Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud and could be tasked with going one better 12 months on. The field looks set to be dominated by British-trained runners, who make up five of the eight contenders.
Hughie Morrison's Marmelo finished one place in front of Lah Ti Dar in fifth in the Investec Coronation Cup at Epsom last month. The six-year-old is no stranger to travelling having raced in Britain on only seven of his 19 starts.
He has yet to finish outside the first three in nine races in France, including when second at this course in 2017.
Aspetar won the Group 2 Grand Prix de Chantilly for Roger Charlton this month and could make his first start in Group 1 company, with the popular Thundering Blue completing the possible British representation.
Andre Fabre's Morgan Le Faye is unbeaten in three starts this season and could lead the small and select French team, which also includes Listen In and Ziyad.
