Jim Dandy clash tops glittering programme
Rematch between Belmont Stakes principals headlines super Saturday
A Belmont Stakes rematch in today's Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga arguably provides the highlight of a star-studded weekend Stateside as Creator and Destin relive their encounter in the final leg of the Triple Crown.
With the Kentucky Derby 1-2-3 due to meet in tomorrow's Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park, and the likes of Beholder and Flintshire also in action, there is no shortage of top-class action on tap over the next couple of days.
High on that list comes the Grade 2 Jim Dandy, live on At The Races at 11.18pm BST. The $600,000 contest is the designated trial for next month's Travers, and Creator will bid to confirm form with Destin, whom he touched off in the Belmont.
