Two of Europe's leading sprinters will battle on Super Saturday at Meydan with last year's Haydock Sprint Cup winner Emaraaty Ana taking on Prix de l'Abbaye scorer A Case Of You in the Group 3 Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint (12.45).

Both horses are warming up for the Group 1 Al Quoz Sprint back at Meydan on March 26, but whereas Emaraaty Ana steps out on a racecourse for the first time since finishing fourth at the Breeders' Cup in November, A Case Of You has already had a run when winning at Dundalk last month.

There is little to split the pair on form, with A Case Of You finishing just a head and one place behind Emaraaty Ana at Del Mar in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint, although they race off level weights on Saturday, with Emaraaty Ana officially rated three pounds superior.

"He's very laid-back so we never have any worries about travelling," said Emaraaty Ana's trainer Kevin Ryan.

"It's his first start of the year and he'll stay on for World Cup night. It's three weeks before the Al Quoz so it makes perfect sense.

"He'd have been waiting for the Duke of York Stakes in May if I hadn't taken him to Dubai. The horse is training well, is in great form and a bit of sun on his back won't do him any harm either.

"He loves fast ground and it would be lovely to get a winner for Sheikh Obaid in Dubai."

A Case Of You is a bigger and stronger colt this year according to trainer Ado McGuinness, who has been delighted with the horse's preparation in Dubai this week.

He said: "He put on a lot of weight over the winter so we decided to give him a run in Dundalk. He wasn't fully fit, but he won easy enough and we were delighted.

"We finished right beside Emaraaty Ana in the Breeders' Cup and none of these races are easy but we're there and we take our chance. He's definitely stronger and everything he does he's doing it very easy. I've always said he's going to get better and I think he will."

Vying for favouritism with Emaraaty Ana and A Case Of You is Godolphin's Man Of Promise, who looked better than ever when winning at Listed level at Meydan in January.

Trainer Charlie Appleby said: "Man Of Promise was impressive on his last start and we were always heading here next. He's got experience on the track and has been based here all winter."

A case can easily be made for the Nigel Tinkler-trained Acklam Express, who finished third in this race last year and shaped nicely when second in a Group 2 at Meydan last month.

Last year's winner Final Song, trained by Saeed bin Suroor, makes her first start for 239 days, while Karl Burke hopes Lord Of The Lodge can do enough to earn an invite to the Al Quoz in three weeks time.
