Alex De Larredya and Gaetan Masure showed heart and quality in equal part to get the better of Device and James Reveley and land this prestigious prize for the second year running.

Lizzie Kelly and Agrapart were prominent for a circuit and a half but gradually began to lose ground as the pace lifted in the back straight for the final time.
