Travel plans for Irish-trained runners at the lucrative Dubai World Cup Carnival look set to proceed without any Covid-19 complications, with Ado McGuinness and Ken Condon on course to be represented at Meydan over the coming weeks.

Both trainers will see their horses and staff travel separately over the coming week or so, with protocols for personnel attached to international raiders requiring a negative Covid-19 test before competing at Meydan.

McGuinness, who enjoyed his most fruitful season yet when sending out 23 winners during the 2020 Flat campaign, is relishing the challenge after making a breakthrough at Group level last year.
