Integrity chief Brickell to leave BHA after seven years
The executive in charge of British racing's integrity is set to leave the BHA next month with the governing body insisting his departure has nothing to do with the controversial Jim Best case.
Adam Brickell, the BHA's director of integrity, legal and risk, said on Tuesday he had decided there would not be a suitable role for him at the BHA after it had implemented changes to its regulatory functions stemming from its integrity review published in March.
Brickell, 36, who has spent seven years with the BHA since joining on a client secondment from DLA Piper in 2009, took up his most recent role in 2012 with responsibility for overseeing its integrity, licensing and non-'judicial' legal functions.
