Tuesday's meetings at Leicester and Catterick are subject to morning inspections after heavy rain over the weekend.

The ground at both tracks was described as heavy on Monday morning and more rain is forecast. Leicester will inspect at 7.30am with Catterick's check at 8am.

Leicester's clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson: "We were okay this morning, but there's more rain forecast through the day. We've had five inches of rain in the last eight days and there's a limit to what we can take."

Rain totalling 30mm fell at Catterick over the weekend, forcing officials into calling the inspection.

Clerk of the course Fiona Needham said: "We've had a lot of rain but looking at the forecast we should be fine. We might get a couple of millimetres today and then it should be dry tomorrow. The course drains well, but the worry is we get some heavy bursts as we can't take too much more."

Monday's fixture at Pontefract was cancelled due to a waterlogged track following a morning inspection.
