Imposing Encipher set to head John Gosden team in Solario Stakes
EncipherJohnGosden
Gosden is chasing a record-equalling sixth win in the Group 3 Solario Stakes at Sandown on Saturday and could be double handed with this imposing son of Siyouni leading his challenge. Robert Havlin guided the juvenile through his latest spin on the Al Bahathri Polytrack a little after 6am and he has had a nice break since winning a 7f novice at Newbury last month.
My FrankelSir Michael Stoute
Stoute's friend and cricketing legend Michael Holding was taking some time out and surveying the Freemason Lodge team on the Al Bahathri between a hectic test schedule which resumes again at Old Trafford on September 4. HydroplaneSir Mark Prescott
Jockey Club Estates is to shortly allow a rare planting of a tree close to the Al Bahathri Polytrack to mark the passing of the great work watcher Jean Bucknell back in April. One of her greatest joys was having some morning banter with Prescott close to the very same gallop where she first clapped eyes on this son of Pour Moi who, since her death, has fittingly won three races. There will be more to come if his latest exercise is any guide.
