How do you reinvigorate a television show that once commanded an audience of nearly seven million but was scraping around for a third of that number on its most recent airing?

No, it is not racing The Dikler is worried about but Top Gear, the BBC’s once all-conquering motoring show that hit hard times following the departure of Jeremy Clarkson and co following a much-publicised fracas with a producer in 2015.

Well, it seems that horse power is what is needed on Top Gear as the new series, which starts next month, has called on horses to help get the viewers flooding back in.
