Jack Kennedy: Pied Piper ticks plenty of boxes to be a Champion Hurdle contender

Pied Piper impressed plenty of people with the manner of his victory at Cheltenham on Saturday and nobody was more taken with the display than Jack Kennedy, who has said he felt like a different horse to the one he rode in the Triumph Hurdle.

Paddy Power reacted to Pied Piper's win over Knight Salute in the Masterson Holdings Hurdle by cutting him to 14-1 (from 20-1) for the Unibet Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival on March 14.

Kennedy thinks Pied Piper has every right to go down that path, while also acknowledging that it is a particularly treacherous route this season with Honeysuckle and Constitution Hill in the way.
