'He's not put a foot wrong' - Cannon a big fan of leading Arkle hope Edwardstone
Tom Cannon says Arkle second favourite Edwardstone has "not put a foot wrong" over fences as he heads for Warwick on Saturday as one of Britain's leading Cheltenham Festival hopes.
The Alan King-trained eight-year-old is set to run in the Virginbet Kingmaker Novices' Chase, in which he could clash with Third Time Lucki and Brave Seasca, after wide-margin victories in the Grade 1 Henry VIII Novices' Chase at Sandown and then under a penalty in the Grade 2 Wayward Lad at Kempton.
A best-priced 7-2 for the Sporting Life-backed Arkle with Coral behind Blue Lord at 3-1, Edwardstone has won three of his four starts over fences this season, all with Cannon on board and is a top-priced 11-8 for the Kingmaker.
