A red-hot spell for Gigginstown House Stud could continue this weekend as the powerful operation have five runners in contention for Sunday's €100,000 Troytown Handicap Chase at Navan.

Nine winners from 22 runners this month have Gigginstown operating at a 41 per cent strike-rate for November – their highest success rate of any month in which they have had at least ten runners over jumps in Ireland.

The Bar One Racing-backed Troytown is the feature event on what promises to be an informative weekend in Ireland, with brilliant Champion Bumper winner Facile Vega entered for a 2m maiden hurdle (2.15) at Gowran on Saturday.
