'He needs to get back on track' - Minella Indo on Irish Gold Cup recovery trail
Henry de Bromhead is hoping Minella Indo can confine his Savills Chase mishap to the rearview mirror in the Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown on February 7.
Minella Indo is a general 5-2 favourite for the Dublin Racing Festival highlight and will be bidding to get back on track after falling early in the Savills Chase at Leopardstown last month.
On that occasion, De Bromhead's A Plus Tard confirmed himself good enough to pick up the pieces and score a first top-level triumph over the trip, but he will sidestep Leopardstown and will be directed straight to Cheltenham instead.
