Longtime King George VI Chase favourite Bravemansgame was on Tuesday replaced as market leader in some bookmakers' lists by L'Homme Presse, who has part-owner Andy Edwards dreaming of glory in the winter championship.

A dual Grade 1-winning novice chaser last season, L'Homme Presse is 7-4 with King George sponsors Ladbrokes, who have the Paul Nicholls-trained Bravemansgame, successful in October's Charlie Hall Chase, at 15-8.

Paddy Power and Betfair have it the other way round, but Edwards is not preoccupied with betting and is instead focused on being involved in one of jump racing's crown jewels.
