The mother-daughter combination of Jessica and Kate Harrington struck on the first day of the Galway festival a year ago when winning the big race on the card, the Connacht Hotel Amateur Riders Handicap, with Modem and the duo have their sights set on repeating the feat next week with Weather Watch.

Jessica Harrington said: "The plan is for Weather Watch to run with Kate riding. Neverushacon is also entered but won't be running."

A versatile performer, like last year's winner, Modem, Weather Watch has twice won on the Flat and once over hurdles and finished third in a 2m handicap at the Curragh on his most recent start last month.
