Hamilton-bound Laugh A Minute puts smile on Varian's face
David Milnes with the latest from the training grounds at headquarters
Laugh A MinuteTrainer: Roger Varian
After only 2mm of rain overnight, Varian paid his first visit of the year to the watered gallop on Wednesday morning where as usual he was first in the queue at 5.55am. Varian's racing secretary Chris Humpleby has found a conditions race at Hamilton next Wednesday for the son of Mayson.
