Gym hungry Sherwood inspired by March 23 Olympic crew

Racing is not an Olympic sport but British racing does have a connection to some great British Olympians.

In a marvellous coincidence, Jason Kenny, Mo Farah, Sir Chris Hoy and Sir Steve Redgrave were all born on March 23, the same day Grand National-winning trainer Oliver Sherwood entered the world.

The fact four such exceptional Olympians share the same birthday has been well documented in recent days. This is the first time Sherwood has been mentioned alongside them and, although his prospects of winning a gold medal at Tokyo 2020 are slim, the Lambourn resident yesterday used a rowing machine.
