Guest sets sights on another big prize with Portland hope Udontdodou

Udontdodou is ready to give Richard Guest another big payday in Saturday's William Hill Portland Handicap, and the Yorkshire trainer is hoping Gerald Mosse can continue his winning partnership.

It is lucky the five-year-old, who is a best-priced 14-1 for the race, has big shoulders as the sprinter has almost single-handedly lifted Guest's spirits in a disappointing period, with his win under Mosse in the Windsor Sprint Series Final taking the trainer into double figures for the year.

Guest said on Monday: "He needs a flat track and ran well at Doncaster two years ago, when Andrew Mullen was adamant if he had had any luck in running he would have won."
