Grumeti could bid to make his trainer King of Newmarket again

Leading jumps trainer Alan King is responsible for four of the 113 entries unveiled on Wednesday for the Betfred Cesarewitch at Newmarket, a race he landed last season with Grumeti.

The eight-year-old Grumeti caused a 50-1 shock in last year's race and could bid for a repeat win in the 2m2f handicap on October 8.

Stablemates Oceane, First Mohican and Who Dares Wins are also entered, while Oriental Fox, Quick Jack and Renneti – Grumeti's closest pursuers last season – could all reoppose.
