Going at Salisbury now soft from good to firm

The going at Salisbury has changed dramatically overnight, with the good to firm replaced by ground described as soft, good to soft in places, after 19mm of rain overnight.

Today is to remain overcast with the possibility of further outbreaks of rain, albeit much lighter and more patchy. The going change has already resulted in ten non-runners, with more likely to follow.
