Galopin Des Champs remains on course to make his seasonal debut in Monday's rescheduled running of the John Durkan Memorial Chase (2.10).

The Grade 1 contest was due to run last Sunday but Punchestown's meeting was one of several abandoned due to the freezing temperatures which have hit Britain and Ireland over the past week.

A field of seven remain in contention for the feature race which will be without National Hunt Chase winner Stattler, who is unbeaten over fences and was also due to make his first start of the season for Willie Mullins.

Mullins will instead rely on Haut En Couleurs and triple Grade 1 winner Galopin Des Champs, who is currently ante-post favourite for the Cheltenham Gold Cup in March.

The pair featured among the original John Durkan entries alongside Grade 1 winners Fakir D'Oudairies and Vanillier, with Gordon Elliott due to be represented by recent Grade 2 scorer Fury Road.

Paddy Power Gold Cup runner-up French Dynamite was also absent from Monday's entries, but the field has been bolstered by the addition of Troytown runner-up Lifetime Ambition and Fastorslow, who will make his first start in Ireland over fences.

2021 Supreme Hurdle winner Appreciate It also remains on course to make his seasonal reappearance at Punchestown in the rescheduled 2m beginners chase (2.40).

He could make his chasing debut alongside stablemate Dysart Dynamo, where they may take on the Henry de Bromhead-trained Journey With Me.

Conditions currently remain unraceable at Punchestown but temperatures are expected to rise over the weekend, although overnight frost is likely to persist. Declarations will close at 10am on Saturday.
