Francesca Cumani to join ITV team for jumping action at Cheltenham and Aintree
ITV Racing's coverage of jumping's twin peaks will next year feature a familiar face from its Flat output after it was announced Francesca Cumani is to co-host the Cheltenham Festival and Grand National alongside Ed Chamberlin.
This year Cumani made her ITV debut at Newmarket's Guineas meeting having worked for Australia's Seven Network during the Melbourne and Sydney autumn carnivals.
However, while Cumani will continue to be part of the Seven team at the Cox Plate and Melbourne Cup Carnival, plus next month for the major Gold Coast meeting, she has signed up to an expanded ITV role over the next three years.
Cumani, who will be back presenting British racing from February, said: "I’m delighted to be returning as part of the ITV coverage for an extended period each racing season.
"The Cheltenham Festival is the highlight of the jump racing calendar and I’m thrilled to be part of it with the ITV team."
