Another chapter to the remarkable tale of 80-1 winner L'Es Fremantle, the white-faced wonder who got off the mark at the 56th time of asking at Market Rasen on Thursday, has emerged as the victory was a first for a former professional footballer turned jockeys' agent.

Ross Hyslop, 27, has made the unusual transition from goalkeeper to jockey-finder after his initial career, which included spells with Scunthorpe United, Motherwell and Queen of the South, was curtailed by a bad knee injury.
