Exclusive insight on Champions Day hopefuls as Inspiral 'nears her peak'

John and Thady Gosden are still in the race for the trainers' championship and have some big guns heading to Champions Day at Ascot.
Their charge is spearheaded by Inspiral, who is set to line-up in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes. The daughter of Frankel has had a nice break since her win in the Group 1 Prix Jacques le Marois in August, but looked to be nearing her peak when stretching out under Frankie Dettori on the Limekilns trial ground on Saturday.
Other Ascot hopes included Ebor winner Trawlerman (Benoit de la Sayette), who featured on the round gallop and goes for the Long Distance Cup.
