William Hill reward staff excellence at Ayr awards ceremony

William Hill staged their first Retail and Group Excellence Awards at Ayr on Saturday when the firm was sponsor of the Ayr Gold Cup.

The awards, which started in the morning before racing and resumed after the meeting had finished, are the company's new annual UK awards and are intended to recognise the hard work and commitment of the company’s staff.

It proved a glittering affair presented by Paddy McGuinness of Phoenix Nights and Take Me Out fame, and Nicola Frampton, William Hill's UK retail director. Sir Anthony McCoy was also booked as guest tipster for the day.
