What advice would you give your ten-year-old self?
Believe in yourself.

What is your earliest racing memory?
It was a family day out at Wetherby in the early 1990s. It was a quiet weekend or bank holiday card, nothing special, but [my brother] Martin and I loved it – no-one else in our family was really that bothered – and from then on we kept asking to go back.

You've experienced Cheltenham from just about every angle besides on horseback. In a perfect world, how would you best spend the week?
I genuinely enjoy working Cheltenham on RUK, so I'd do a couple of days of that and spend the other two days, probably including the Tuesday, soaking up the atmosphere with mates.
