Blurred lines between what is gambling and what is not is set to be an increasing issue for the Gambling Commission, according to the industry regulator.

Both chief executive Andrew Rhodes and his deputy Sarah Gardner made a point of emphasising the challenge presented by novel products such as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) when speaking to the World Regulatory Briefing at last week's Ice London.

Rhodes said such products had many of the hallmarks of gambling but were not defined as gambling in law.
