James Potter's interest in racing started modestly many moons ago at Wolverhampton, but it is safe to say he is in deep now

I had a pony when I was a kid, so I was quite interested in horses. I was all right in the saddle and would go hunting, but I wouldn't be the best rider in the world.

We used to go to Wolverhampton when I was a teenager. My parents wouldn't have been that interested, but going back in the family there was a passion for horses so maybe it skipped a generation and came out in me.
